Hormone Specialist & Nutritional Therapist Southport.

Supporting women in Southport and the surrounding Merseyside and Lancashire area through perimenopause, PCOS/PMOS, endometriosis, PMS, stress and gut health — with a personalised, root cause approach.

Is This You?

If you're a woman in Southport who recognises any of this, you're in the right place:

  • Exhausted by mid-afternoon, no matter how well you slept the night before

  • Cycles that have become unpredictable, heavier, or harder to manage than they used to be

  • Doing everything "right" — eating well, exercising, cutting back on alcohol — but still not feeling like yourself

  • In your late 30s or 40s, and quietly wondering whether this is the start of perimenopause

  • Juggling a demanding job (maybe a commute into Liverpool or Preston, or hybrid working from home) with symptoms that are starting to chip away at your focus and confidence

  • Googling your symptoms late at night because your GP appointment felt too short to get to the bottom of it

You don't have to keep pushing through it. Whether you'd rather talk it through online or face-to-face here in Southport, put yourself back on the priority list.

My Passion

As a hormone specialist, I work with women through every stage of the hormonal journey, including:

  • Perimenopause and menopause

  • PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome)/ PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome)

  • Endometriosis

  • PMS and PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder)

  • Irregular or heavy cycles

  • Excess oestrogen and oestrogen dominance

  • Stress and cortisol imbalance

  • Gut health and the gut-hormone connection

  • Blood sugar balance and energy crashes

  • Postnatal and breastfeeding nutrition

About Me

I'm Kath Samuels, a Registered Nutritional Therapist and Behaviour Change Coach based in Southport, working with women across Merseyside and West Lancashire, in person and online.

Before retraining in nutrition, I spent almost three decades in a demanding corporate career. I know first-hand what it's like to run on empty while trying to hold everything together, which is exactly why I specialise in supporting women whose hormones, energy and health have taken a back seat to everyone, and everything else.

Qualifications & Approach

  • Diploma in Nutritional Therapy

  • Registered with the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and General Naturopathic Council (GNC)

  • PCI Certified Health Coach

  • Root cause, functional approach — not generic or one-size-fits-all advice

  • Personalised protocols, informed where appropriate by functional testing (stool analysis, hormone testing, blood testing, nutrigenomics)

Working with me isn't about restriction or willpower. It's about understanding why your body is behaving the way it is, and building a plan that fits into a real, busy life — with balance, not more pressure.

How We Can Work Together

Kickstart

A plate of cooked green beans, white rice, and a baked salmon fillet garnished with cherry tomatoes and microgreens. Beside the plate, there is a bowl of pesto topped with pine nuts and a spoon, as well as a small bowl of cherry tomatoes, with a sprig of thyme and fresh herbs in the background. The setting includes a light blue tablecloth and a gray cloth napkin.

6 weekly Sessions - for a focused reset on one or two priority areas

Signature

A bowl filled with mashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, pine nuts, and edible flower petals, garnished with herbs and oil, surrounded by glasses of dark soda with ice and a silver tray with a gray cloth.

3 months - my most popular programme for deeper, sustainable change

Deep Dive

A bowl of assorted fresh vegetables, including cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, corn, lettuce, and grilled chicken slices.

6 months - for complex or long-standing hormone and health concerns

Functional Testing

I also offer a range of functional tests to help identify the root cause of your symptoms.

Functional tests are offered where appropriate. Additional charges will apply.

Supporting Women in Southport

I'm based right here in Southport, which means this isn't a generic location page, it's genuinely home.

From 23rd September, I'm offering face-to-face consultations every other Wednesday at The Corner Studios in Churchtown, so if you'd rather sit down with me in person, that's now an option on your doorstep.

Prefer to fit things around a busy week from your own sofa? My online programmes run alongside this, with the same personalised approach either way.

I also work directly with Southport employers on workplace wellbeing, including talks and workshops on women's hormonal health, so if hormone health is something your workplace is starting to take seriously, I'd love to talk.

  • Face-to-face consultations every other Wednesday at The Corner Studios, Churchtown (from 23rd September) — or fully online, whichever suits you

  • Start with a free 20-minute chat, in person or online, to see if nutritional therapy is the right fit

  • Flexible appointment times that fit around work, school runs, and shift patterns
